Allegedly Related to Debt, Woman Steals Car in North Jakarta

Jakarta – A car loaded with boxes of salmon fish was stolen. This incident occurred on Jalan Hiu Raya Pelabuhan Muara Baru, North Jakarta, Penjaringan, Penjaringan, North Jakarta City. The victim, AS, has reported this incident to the Muara Baru District Police.

This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi. He said that one of the suspected perpetrators has been identified as a woman with the initial C. This was confirmed after the victim provided a statement to the police.

“I confirm that there was an alleged robbery that occurred on Sunday, December 1, 2024, around 10:00 AM WIB,” he said in a written statement on Wednesday (12/4/2024).

Regarding this incident, Ade Ary stated that the victim AS and his employee BS have been questioned.

Chronology

The incident began when the victim instructed his employee to load salmon fish at PT. Gabungan Samudera Internasional Pelabuhan Muara Angke North Jakarta. At that moment, a Toyota Yaris intercepted the vehicle driven by BS.

“Suddenly, a silver Toyota Yaris came from behind, tailgating the car driven by BS, and ordered BS to stop,” he said.

Ade Ary said that four people who were inside the Toyota Yaris got out. According to BS’s testimony, there were 3 men and 1 woman, who is suspected to be named C.

“Next, C immediately took the car key from the vehicle driven by BS while saying to BS, ‘Call your boss and tell him that if you don’t pay for the car and its contents within 2 days, they will become the property of the reported party (C),’ said Ade Ary.”
