Jakarta – Chairperson of the DPP PDIP, Puan Maharani, stated that the meeting between PDIP Secretary-General Hasto Kristiyanto and Felicia Tissue, the former girlfriend of PSI General Chair Kaesang Pangarep, was merely a social visit.
“If I see it, it’s a meeting between two people who both have a social gathering,” said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (5/12/2024).
Puan requested to distinguish whether Hasto was acting in a personal capacity or as the Secretary-General of PDIP.
“It must be distinguished whether this meeting is with Mr. Hasto as an individual or as the Secretary-General,” she said.
Regarding the content of the meeting and whether there was any valuable information from it, Puan was reluctant to disclose it.
“Ask Mr. Hasto, he met with Mr. Hasto,” she concluded.
Previously, Hasto Kristiyanto revealed that he received an invitation to meet with the former girlfriend of the General Chairperson of PSI, Kaesang Pangarep, Felicia Tissue. Felicia was accompanied by her mother during the meeting.
Hasto did not specify the time and location of the meeting. However, the lecturer from the Indonesian Defense University (Unhan) admitted to exchanging valuable information with Felicia and her mother.
“I was contacted because Mrs. Mei, Felicia’s mother, reached out to me and said that when her family became victims, they surrendered and only asked for justice to be served,” said Hasto in response to a journalist’s question, when met at the Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/12).
Hasto said that the Indonesian people should not be treated like that. Although he did not detail the treatment Felicia received, Hasto conveyed that Kaesang’s ex-girlfriend was seeking justice.
“They then took action and provided me with a lot of valuable information,” added Hasto.
However, Hasto admitted that he was reluctant to disclose the valuable information conveyed by Felicia and her mother.
That Information Was Used to Uphold the Truth
Hasto considers the information conveyed to be highly confidential. Therefore, the politician from Yogyakarta ensured that this valuable information would be used by the PDIP in the process of upholding the truth.
“Because these individuals are also called upon by seeing Indonesia, which is so vast, with extraordinary ideas of independence as a great nation, it should not be treated like this by Mr. Jokowi’s family,” said Hasto.
On the other hand, Hasto emphasized that the information obtained from Felicia and her mother is also considered a great source of energy for PDIP. Specifically, the energy to continue fighting for truth and saving democracy for the people and by the people.
Finally, Hasto explained about the PDIP jackets worn by Felicia and her mother during the meeting. He continued that the jackets were deliberately brought directly because Felicia requested them as a souvenir from PDIP.
“Coincidentally, they expressed appreciation for the struggle of the PDI Perjuangan.” Yes, since the time of Bung Karno, Ibu Mega when fighting against the authoritarian government, even later when PDI Perjuangan was treated like this, they provided support and as a symbol of their support and love, they asked me to bring back a PDI Perjuangan jacket as a souvenir. So, as soon as I met her, I gave it to her, and she immediately put on the jacket,” concluded Hasto.
