Jakarta – The pair of candidates for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta, number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Rano), are ready to hit the gas to fulfill their campaign promises after the DKI Jakarta KPU declared them the winners in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.
“After being officially inaugurated on February 7, 2025, Pramono-Rano, who have already identified various issues faced by Jakarta residents, will immediately hit the ground running to realize ‘Jakarta Menyala’,” said the Treasurer of the Pramono-Rano Winning Team, Charles Honoris, in a statement in Jakarta on Sunday (December 8, 2024), as reported by Antara.
Charles stated that according to their campaign promise, Pram-Rano will continue the good work programs of previous governors, considering their value and benefits for the people.
Great Expectations
According to Charles, with 50.07 percent of the votes, the victory of the Pram-Rano camp is not just a number and data, but a manifestation of the great hope of the entire Jakarta community who want the Jakarta Menyala policy to be implemented immediately.
As a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives currently on recess, he admitted to having visited several areas in Jakarta and found many residents longing for Jakarta to be led again by a definitive governor.
“The absence of a definitive governor for almost half of this gubernatorial term has been a major complaint among Jakarta residents, as it has caused many people’s programs to be delayed,” he said.
