Jakarta – The team of the gubernatorial and vice gubernatorial candidates number 01 Ridwan Kamil (RK)-Suswono left the location or walked out during the meeting to determine the results of the vote recapitulation for the Jakarta gubernatorial election (Pilgub) 2024 by the General Election Commission (KPU), Sunday (8/12/2024).
The head of the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno Winning Team, Lies Hartono, also known as Cak Lontong, responded casually to the attitude of the witnesses from the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono or RIDO pair. In fact, Cak Lontong even had time to make a joke.
“Maybe their technical consideration is that the mayor might be afraid that if they leave together, it would be too crowded. Maybe,” said Cak Lontong, greeted by laughter from the audience present at the Pramono-Rano Victory House in Central Jakarta, Sunday afternoon (8/12/2024).
Regardless of that, Cak Lontong respects the stance taken by the witnesses from the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana pairs. According to him, that is part of democracy.
“Regarding the walkout earlier, of course, we from the 03 pair respect the democratic rights of the witnesses from the 01 and 02 pairs,” he explained.
Cak Lontong said that the walkout would definitely not affect the results of the Jakarta 2024 Regional Head Election or Pilkada Jakarta 2024.
Where Pramono Anung-Rano Karno were declared superior compared to their two competitors in the Jakarta Gubernatorial Election 2024. They received 50.07%, which means the Jakarta Gubernatorial Election 2024 will proceed in one round.
“The process of walking out or not signing at all does not affect the decisions and results determined by the Jakarta KPU. So, in terms of process, it does not interfere,” emphasized Cak Lontong.
