Jakarta – Setyo Budiyanto, the newly elected Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), has outlined a series of long-term and short-term programs that will be implemented immediately after officially taking office. One of his main focuses is to pursue the corruptors who are on the Wanted List (DPO), including Harun Masiku.
“The issue of several DPOs is also an effort to (capture them), yes since we have been here, we have been working hard. Of course, it will become our target to strive for,” said Setyo while attending the Hakordia event at the KPK Building, Monday (9/12/2024).
“Hopefully, we can maximize our efforts to capture some of the targets that are still at large. Of course, we also expect support from all parties,” he continued.
Setyo added that he would gather the newly elected KPK leaders to discuss the vision and mission of the KPK for the next five years.

“So the five leaders will unite to discuss the visions we will implement for the benefit of the KPK. We will do this after we are inaugurated,” said Setyo.
Setyo also admitted that until now he has not had the chance to meet with the other four KPK leaders because they are still busy with their duties in their respective agencies. However, the meeting will later discuss the 100-day work plan after the inauguration and other work programs.
“Well, that is what we will implement as a policy that we will carry out together with all the employees at the KPK,” he concluded.
