Lampung – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) handed over state confiscated assets from former North Lampung Regent, Agung Ilmu Mangkunegara, to the Bandar Lampung City Government (Pemkot). The total value of the donated assets reached IDR 42.9 billion.
The Director of Asset Tracking, Evidence Management, and Execution (Labuksi) of the KPK, Mungki Hadipratikto, explained that this handover is part of the execution of the corruption case involving Agung Ilmu Mangkunegara.
“This grant handover is a follow-up to the legal decision related to the corruption crime, specifically the assets that have been confiscated from the convicted,” said Mungki, Thursday (12/12/2024).
The assets handed over include three plots of land and buildings, with the Mandala Alam Building on Jalan Pagar Alam, Bandar Lampung, being the largest asset valued at Rp40.7 billion.
The valuation of these assets was conducted by the Bandar Lampung State Wealth and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).
“The handover of this asset is more effective than an auction, which is often hindered by the purchasing power of the community. With a grant, state confiscated goods can be utilized for public benefit,” explained Mungki.
The transfer of these assets is regulated by the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 145 of 2021, which outlines five options for the management of state confiscated goods: determination of usage status, grants, utilization, disposal, and destruction.

The KPK chose to grant the asset to the Bandar Lampung City Government because of the strategic needs of the region.
“The Bandar Lampung City Government was chosen because their needs align with the characteristics of this asset.” This grant aims to ensure that state confiscated goods can be directly utilized for the community,” added Mungki.
Mungki emphasized that grants are a solution to the challenges in managing state confiscated goods, especially for assets like land and buildings that often remain unproductive if left unattended.
“This success is expected to serve as an example for other regions in utilizing state confiscated goods. We hope that the Bandar Lampung City Government can use these assets according to the needs of the community,” he concluded.
The Mayor of Bandar Lampung, Eva Dwiana, expressed her gratitude for the grant. She promised to manage the asset well for the benefit of the community.
“We greatly appreciate the KPK’s actions. We will use this asset as optimally as possible for the welfare of the people of Bandar Lampung,” said Eva.
The handover process was marked by the signing of the grant document and the handover report. After this handover, the management and security of the asset will be entirely the responsibility of the Bandar Lampung City Government.
