Jakarta, the Indonesian eFootball national team successfully won the championship at the FIFAe World Cup 2024 in the Console category after defeating the Brazilian team in the final match held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday (12/12/2024) evening local time. This victory demonstrates the prowess of the Indonesian team in the international competition.
The final used a best of three match format, which made the atmosphere even more tense. The match was tight and exciting, with each team striving to showcase their best abilities on the virtual field.
In the first game, the Brazilian team took the lead initially. However, towards the end of the second half, the Indonesian eFootball National Team managed to make a comeback and won the match with a score of 1-2. “This match was very tense, but we managed to show a high fighting spirit,” said one of the Indonesian players.
In the second game, the Indonesian National Team managed to take the lead with a score of 2-0. Although Brazil managed to score one goal, Indonesia was able to maintain their lead. In the end, the Merah Putih won the match with a score of 2-1 and, on aggregate, led 2-0 over Brazil, securing their victory in this prestigious event.
Heading to the Final Round
The Indonesian Efootball national team for the Console category is represented by three talented players. These players are Elga Cahya Putra, Rizky Faidan, and Akbar Paudie, who are ready to compete.
Initially, Indonesia was placed in Group A. They had to face challenges from strong teams such as Spain, the Netherlands, France, Poland, South Korea, India, England, and Malaysia.

In the Mobile section, the Indonesian eFootball national team successfully advanced as the winner of Group A. In this category, represented by Philip Franc, the Red and White team faced Thailand in the quarter-finals.
However, Indonesia had to accept defeat in this round. Philip Franc suffered two consecutive game losses.
In the first match, Indonesia lost with a score of 1-2. In the second game, Thailand won again with a score of 1-2, according to the match results.
