Jakarta DPP PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) stated that they are ready to fight against any parties that try to disrupt the party with the bull emblem.
PDIP guarantees that it will not remain silent in the face of attempts to disrupt the party’s sovereignty.
That was conveyed by the Chairman of the DPP PDIP Executive Election Victory Division, Deddy Sitorus. He said that PDIP cadres and sympathizers across Indonesia have already shown solidarity against the party’s takeover.
“That has already been demonstrated by the party’s structure in various regions in Indonesia, that PDI Perjuangan is ready to fight anyone who dares to disturb the tranquility of PDI Perjuangan in contributing to the nation’s development,” said Deddy at the DPP PDIP office, Jakarta, Thursday (19/12/2024).
Deddy conveyed that PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri thanked the party ranks for their readiness to fight anyone who dares to disturb her party.
“In our opinion, those are indications of an attack against the PDI Perjuangan,” he said.
Deddy then mentioned the banners that attack the honor and authority of the party, which are installed in strategic areas, even in the second ring, such as Kuningan and Rasuna Said. According to him, it is very strange if the police cannot identify the banner installers.
“Because there are CCTV cameras everywhere and those areas should always be sterile areas because there are many embassies and so on,” he said.
There is a Systematic Effort
Deddy suspects This is a systematic and structured effort to attack, or as it is termed, to undermine PDI Perjuangan.
“It cannot be done by ordinary people.” “This is a systematic and structured effort,” he said.
Regarding this matter, Deddy said that the Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri, has asked PDI Perjuangan cadres to be on standby.
“It is urged to all party ranks to be on standby to counter various attempts to attack PDI Perjuangan, in the words of Mrs. Megawati, to mess with and roughly like that, to disrupt PDI Perjuangan,” he said.
There are efforts to disrupt the internal stability of the party ahead of the congress.
The Central Leadership Council of PDI Perjuangan has detected parties attempting to disrupt the internal affairs of the party and the PDIP Congress.
Not without reason, the Chairman of the DPP PDIP for National Legal System Reform, Ronny Talapessy, then mentioned the emergence of several billboards and banners containing attacks on his party and the General Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri in Jakarta.
Seeing that dynamic, all ranks within the PDIP are currently on high alert.
“With the circulation of billboards and banners that are inciting in nature, a level-1 alert condition has been created within the internal PDI Perjuangan to react to the attempts to ‘interfere’ with PDI Perjuangan ahead of the PDI Perjuangan Congress as stated by Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri,” said Ronny at a press conference at the DPP PDIP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Jakarta, Thursday night (19/12/2024).
Ronny also said that the billboards, banners, and attacks against the General Chairperson Megawati made all PDIP cadres angry.
“Thus triggering the anger of party members and cadres throughout Indonesia,” Ronny asserted.
