The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has completed its review of the asset ownership of the Head of the National Road Implementation Agency (BPJN) of West Kalimantan, Dedy Mandarsyah. According to the KPK, there are several of his assets that were not reported. Therefore, the KPK will summon Dedy.
“Some assets were not reported, so we will proceed with an investigation,” said KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan in a written statement, Friday, December 27, 2024.
Pahala has not yet been able to specify the exact time for Dedy’s summons. However, he confirmed that the clarification would not take place this week.
“Next year, then,” said Pahala.
Previously, the KPK was investigating Dedy’s wealth. He was highlighted by netizens after his name was linked as the father of a student named Lady Aurelia Pramesti, who was involved in the assault case of a clinical student from Sriwijaya University (Unsri) named Luthfi.
Based on the wealth report submitted to the KPK on December 31, 2023, Dedy is recorded to have a wealth of Rp9.4 billion. Dedy reported ownership of land and building assets worth Rp750 million in South Jakarta. Dedy also reported ownership of a 2019 Honda CRV worth Rp450 million, stating it was a gift.
Dedy is recorded to have other movable assets worth Rp830 million; securities worth Rp670,700,000; cash and cash equivalents worth Rp6,725,751,869, and no debts.

Dedy experienced an increase in wealth of around Rp500 million from the report one year earlier. On December 30, 2022, Dedy was recorded to have a net worth of Rp8,915,130,867.
The KPK had previously investigated the wealth reports of state officials due to a viral assault case on social media. The KPK previously checked the wealth of the Director General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance, Rafael Alun Trisambodo, following the assault committed by Rafael Alun’s son, Mario Dandy Satrio, against David Ozora. Rafael Alun was proven in court to have received gratifications while serving as a tax examiner at the Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance.
