DIVISION The Propam Polri continues to hold hearings by the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) against 18 members who are suspected of extorting concertgoers at the Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP). A total of nine police officers have been subjected to an ethics trial up to today.
“The Polri Propam Division has conducted 9 professional ethics hearings related to the DWP 2024 case,” said the Head of the Polri Public Relations Division, Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago, to reporters on Tuesday, (7/1).
Erdi said that out of the nine police officers, three of them were dismissed without honor (PTDH) as members of the police force. Then, three members were demoted for 8 years and three others were demoted for 5 years. This demotion is a placement in a lower position outside the law enforcement function (detective).
“Regarding that decision, the offender filed an appeal,” said Erdi.

Former Director of Narcotics at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, was dismissed dishonorably. He was guilty of allowing his subordinates to extort the victim.
Former Head of Sub-Directorate III of the Narcotics Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police, AKBP Malvino Edward Yusticia, was dismissed for securing and extorting DWP attendees.
Former Panit 1 Unit 3 Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya AKP Yudhy Triananta Syaeful was dismissed for detaining and extorting DWP attendees.
Former Head of Unit 5 Subdivision 2 Narcotics Directorate of Metro Jaya Police, Kompol Dzul Fadlan, was demoted for 8 years. He was proven to have extorted the victim.
Former Panit 1 Unit 2 Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya Iptu Syaharuddin was demoted for 8 years. He was proven to have extorted the victim.
Former Bhayangkara Administration Supervisor of Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya Iptu Sehatma Manik, was demoted for 8 years. He was proven to have extorted the victim.
Brigadier Fahrudin Rizki Sucipto of the Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya was demoted for 5 years. He was proven to have extorted the victim.
Member of Banit 3 Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya Aiptu Armadi Juli Marasi Gultom has been demoted for 5 years. He was proven to have extorted the victim.
Member of Banit 3 Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya Bripka Wahyu Tri Haryanto has been demoted for 5 years. He was proven to have extorted the victim.
For your information, the extortion occurred during the DWP concert at JI-Expo Kemayoran Central Jakarta on December 13-15, 2024. A total of 18 police officers involved from the Polda Metro Jaya unit, Central Jakarta Metro Police, and Kemayoran Police Station. Dozens of police officers are certain to face an ethics trial to account for their actions.
In this case, the Propam Division of the National Police Headquarters confiscated evidence in the form of money amounting to IDR 2.5 billion, which is the victim’s loss. The money is kept in a special account that has been prepared. The Polri Propam Division will return the billions of rupiah to the victims after 18 police officers are tried for ethics violations.
