JakartaThe Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development (IPK), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), summoned several technical ministers under coordination to the IPK Ministry Office in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/1/2025).
As for the meeting, several ministers and their staff appeared to arrive before AHY. For example, the Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo, the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Dudy Purwagandhi, and the Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid.
Also present on that occasion were the Deputy Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Fahri Hamzah, as well as the Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti and the echelon I officials at the Ministry of Public Works.
AHY himself arrived at his office around 10:00 AM WIB. As he was about to head to his office, he took a moment to explain the summons of the ministers under him.
“So I might listen to presentations from the ministers, including the deputy ministers, the secretary-general, and the echelon I officials to align our frequencies.” At the same time, we will recap the year 2024 that we have gone through, and there is an outlook that we need to formulate together for 2025,” he said.
Impact on Economic Growth
He emphasized that he wants the technical ministers not only to carry out their duties within their respective scopes but also to have a tangible impact on the economic growth targets set by the government.
“Clearly, we want infrastructure development to have an increasing impact, be targeted to significantly contribute to economic growth, and also to the welfare of the community,” emphasized AHY.
