Jakarta -The Jakarta Regional Representative Council (DPRD) has announced the appointment of Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Si Doel) as the elected governor and deputy governor of Jakarta for the 2025-2030 term.
The meeting was led by the Chairman of the Jakarta DPRD, Khoirudin, in the Jakarta DPRD Plenary Meeting Room, Tuesday (14/1/2025). The meeting was attended by Acting (Pj) Governor of Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi, Chairman of the Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata, Jakarta KPU Commissioners Doddy Wijaya, Fahmi Zikrillah, and Nelvia Gustina.
“Officially, we announce the determination of the Jakarta Governor and Deputy Governor candidate pair number 3, Mr. Pramono Anung Wibowo-Rano Karno, with a total of 2,183,239 votes or 50.07 percent of the total valid votes as the Governor and Deputy Governor pair for the DKI Jakarta Province for the 2025-2030 period in the Jakarta 2024 Pilkada,” said Khoirudin.
Khoirudin stated that the Jakarta DPRD will send a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs as a follow-up to the appointment. Meanwhile, regarding the inauguration schedule, the Jakarta DPRD is waiting for a decision from the central government.
“Next, the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives will send a letter through the Minister of Home Affairs to report the appointment of Mr. Pramono Anung Wibowo-Rano Karno as the Governor and Deputy Governor of the DKI Jakarta Province for the 2025-2030 period,” said Khoirudin.
