The fifth President of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri, who is also the Chairperson of the PDIP, was absent from the 17th Anniversary of the Gerindra Party. Megawati is said to still be abroad.
“It seems he won’t be able to attend yet because, according to the information, he is still abroad,” said the Chairman of the DPP Gerindra Party, Prasetyo Hadi, at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (14/2).
Gerindra also invited the seventh President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). However, Jokowi has not yet confirmed his attendance.
Prasetyo also responded to the Indonesian Forward Coalition (KIM) party that was invited today for a social gathering. Regarding the non-invitation of PDIP, he emphasized that the party with the white-nosed bull logo is not yet part of KIM Plus.
“Not yet part of KIM, not yet,” he said.
Gerindra will celebrate its 17th anniversary at SICC, Saturday, February 15, 2025. Meanwhile, today Gerindra is holding a KIM Gathering at the private residence of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java.
