Jakarta The General Chairperson (Ketum) of Nasdem, Surya Paloh, and the General Chairperson of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, did not attend the invitation from President Prabowo Subianto in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java. Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Nasdem Party faction, Willy Aditya, reviewed the reasons for Surya Paloh’s absence.
“Nasdem faction full team, the DPP will come here tomorrow to be with Mr. Surya.” “So today Mr. Surya didn’t come, but the faction leader and deputy chairman came,” said Willy at Padepokan Garuda Yaksa, Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, Friday (14/2/2025).
According to Willy, Surya Paloh will only attend the peak event of Gerindra’s Anniversary (HUT) at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC) on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
“Tomorrow the event will indeed be at SICC, full DPP, today the faction of several advisory council members and elected regional heads from the Nasdem party came to Hambalang today,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Democratic politician Dede Yusuf stated that AHY’s absence from Prabowo’s invitation was due to visiting the late General Treasurer of the DPP Democratic Party, Renville Antonio, who passed away in an accident in Situbondo, East Java.
“The information is still not fixed, but clearly, since this is the general treasurer, we must pay our respects.” So it’s highly likely that Mas AHY will go there because he has to be buried today, they say. So please pray for the general treasurer,” said Dede.
