Nikita Mirzani Detained in Connection with Extortion Case


POLDA Metro Jaya officially detained artist Nikita Mirzani and her assistant with the initials IM as suspects in the extortion case of a skincare boss, Tuesday (4/3). This was done after both suspects were first questioned on the same day.
Nikita Mirzani, along with her assistant, was seen leaving the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters wearing orange detention uniforms. Nikita also waved to the media crew.
“The investigators from the Cyber Crime Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police have conducted an examination of both suspects, first Ms. NM, and second Mr. IM, followed by another case presentation.” Next, the investigators detained the two suspects,” said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, to reporters on Tuesday (4/3).

It is known that the examination of Nikita and her assistant was supposed to be conducted on Thursday (20/2) two weeks ago. However, Nikita requested a rescheduling on Monday (3/3). Nikita Mirzani and her assistant with the initials IM only responded to the police summons on Tuesday (4/3). Nikita arrived at the Polda Metro Jaya at 10:00 AM WIB this morning and immediately underwent an examination.
Previously reported, Nikita Mirzani was reported by RGP, a skincare entrepreneur, to the Polda Metro Jaya on December 3, 2024. RGP reported her for threats and money laundering (TPPU).


In her report, the victim stated that Nikita Mirzani allegedly defamed the victim’s name and her products through a live broadcast on TikTok. On November 13, 2024, the victim tried to contact the accused through her assistant via WhatsApp with the intention of making amends. However, the response received was actually a threat.
The victim felt threatened and admitted to transferring Rp2 billion to an account at the direction of the reported party. On November 15, the victim admitted to being asked again to provide cash of Rp2 billion. Regarding this incident, the victim reported it to the Polda Metro Jaya.
