Jakarta Former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator Yudi Purnomo appreciates the steps of the Republic of Indonesia Hajj Organizing Agency (BP Haji) which appointed ASN Polri Harun Al Rasyid as Deputy for Supervision, Monitoring, and Evaluation.
It is known that Harun Al Rasyid was nicknamed the King of OTT by Firli Bahuri when he was still serving as Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK.
“Harun Al Rasyid, who was removed by Firli through TWK, is known to be firm and has integrity and is a capable figure in this position. So that in the future, there will be no more corruption, collusion and nepotism in the implementation of the hajj in various matters such as transportation, consumption, accommodation and so on,” he said in a statement received on Thursday (24/4/2025).
Yudi also saw the appointment of Harun as a form of Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to preventing corruption, especially in the hajj sector.
“Harun Al Rasyid, who was appointed through President Prabowo’s Decree on April 8, 2025, is the right decision and a concrete form of commitment so that the implementation of the Hajj is free from corruption, collusion and nepotism, so that the congregation is not harmed and there is no misappropriation of hajj funds,” he said.
“Because those who are chosen are people who have the capacity to carry out strict supervision without compromise,” he explained.
